About

My name is Lina and I have been involved in Teacher Education programs at the tertiary level for the past ten years.  One of my highest priorities has always been to model effective use of learning technologies and appropriate learning and teaching strategies in my own everyday teaching practice. I coordinate and lecture in a number of units in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) which deal with the integration and effective use of ICT in learning and teaching.

I have also been working with ePortfolios for many years. I strongly believe that ePortfolios, if implemented effectively have the potential to measure the quality of courses, the development of the individual student, the effectiveness of individual teaching and the appropriateness and value of the University and Course outcomes themselves. They are also a very powerful tool for reflection and hence, have been embedded within our course.

I have a wonderful and supportive family and extended family whom I love spending time with. In addition to teaching, I also get a great deal of pleasure from travelling, reading, walking, long lunches with friends, and my mother’s great food.
